I am a REALTOR with the Allen Tate Company in Charlotte, NC.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a diverse group of friends, colleagues, and associates.

I am blessed with a passion for connecting with all manner of folks, regardless of cultural, educational, or socioeconomic backgrounds.

I feel just as "at home" in an Uptown penthouse or a south Charlotte country club as I do on a bass boat in Lake Wylie or a Union County horse farm.

I fancy myself a bit of a Renaissance Man -- an athlete and a scholar; an outdoorsman and a museum buff; an artist and a businessman.

At the end of the day, I am a Connector. I love bringing people together who would not ordinarily have occasion to meet.

Adaptability and lessons learned from diverse life experiences are crucial to successfully negotiating the pitfalls and the land mines of the "typical" real estate sales transaction.

So are market and industry knowledge; sales, negotiation and client service expertise; and establishing rapport and trust.

All Realtors are liaisons. The best agents are chameleons, able to blend into any role and quickly establish credibility, moving seamlessly from one environment into the next.

As a Realtor, I build trust and nurture relationships with paralegals, attorneys, building contractors, housing and termite inspectors, structural engineers, credit lenders, other real estate agents and, most importantly, my clients.

I pride myself on delivering effective communication and providing top-notch, "Red Penguin" service.

Why I Love Being a Realtor: 

I love negotiating offers to purchase and renegotiating post-inspection repairs.

I love marketing and selling houses and then helping my clients into their new home.

I love making new friends and helping my clients achieve their dreams.

And I can't stand to lose, especially when it comes to helping my clients secure the best possible outcome to secure their housing needs.

I am a Realtor because I believe variety is the spice of life and I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and new experiences that only this and a select few other professions can provide.

Jimmy Grappone is married and has a 3-year-old adopted hound dog named Jack. Jimmy enjoys playing golf and fishing in his spare time. An avid sports fan, Jimmy is a huge supporter of Charlotte professional sports, especially the Charlotte Hornets and the 3X-defending NFC South Champion Carolina Panthers. Jimmy also has a passion for good food and drink, great books, and even better company.
