Charlotte Daily Short: The Secret To Wealth According To Tony Robbins

I saw this Tony Robbins quote today in a Tweet from +Success Fastlane and it really spoke to me so I decided to share it.
The message is simple.  To get more and to have more, you must be more, do more, help more, give more, serve more.

I've always found that hard work, persistence, and willingness to do what others won't do are all key to standing out from the crowd and being successful.

Helping others.  Being a connector.  Lifting up your neighbor.

I've also been watching, listening to, and reading Grant Cardone (@GrantCardone on Twitter) recently and his book "The 10X Rule."

His message is simple, direct, and to the point:

* Aim unreasonably high.

Set your goals ten-times higher and put in ten-times the effort to stand out from the crowd.

Don't compete.  Dominate.

Never lower the target.  Instead, increase the effort.

Being broke is a lot harder than being super successful.  Truer words were never spoken.

So, what motivates and inspires you on a daily basis?

Video Blog: Charlotte Open House Berkeley on Providence

Ever wonder what Realtors® do on the weekends when we're not chauffeuring our buyer clients around town or taking exotic vacations?

Why, we hold open houses, of course!

Check out this quick video I filmed at the location of my upcoming open house at 5116 Berkeley Green Dr, Charlotte, NC 28277.

I'll be there with one of my go-to mortgage partners, Jessica Babinski of Movement Mortgage, from 1-3 PM this Saturday, January 16, 2015.

Please share this post / video and I'd love to see you there!

Video Blog: Three Questions Every Home Buyer Should Answer Before Buying a Home

Watch the YouTube Video: Three Questions Every Home Buyer Should Answer

Are you thinking about buying a home, or did you recently purchase a home?

If so, what are / were your top considerations? What led you to your decision to buy or not buy?

What questions did you ask yourself, your Realtor®, and your lender prior to making the decision to buy?

According to a recent post by Keeping Current Matters, these are the questions you should be asking (video):

1.  "Why do I want to purchase a new home?"

What is the main purpose or goal you wish to achieve with your move? Not your financial goals, but your purpose in choosing a property to come home to and raise your family.

If you are considering buying a home, you likely already know the answer.

2. "What does the market look like?"

This is where having a local and knowledgeable Realtor® is important so that your financial interests are protected.

The market is not the same this month as it was last month and it's not the same in your neighborhood as it is in the neighborhood across the street.

3. "What is going to happen to mortgage interest rates?"

While a good Realtor® should be able to discuss mortgages in general and give an idea of where the rates may be headed, a qualified mortgage professional is your best resource for specific questions related to the interest rates and loan programs specifically available to you.

YouTube Video: Three Questions Every Home Buyer Should Answer

As a Realtor®, I am qualified to answer Question No. 2 and I can offer guidance with Question No. 3, but the first question is one you must answer for yourself.

If you have that one figured out, then I'm the next one to call.
