The first day of 2016 was unlike the final week of 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Cool, sunny and dry!
I was beginning to think I'd moved to a warmer version of Seattle with all of the rain and thunderstorms we've experienced since Christmas.
North Carolina typically experiences four distinct seasons.
Hopefully this cooler, drier, and sunnier weather will be a sign of things to come this Winter!
If you were able to beat the crowds, it was also a great day to take advantage of numerous sales at Charlotte Premium Outlets.
My wife and I arrived when stores opened at 10:00 AM on New Year's Day and we visited stores such as Puma, Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Coach, Loft, Banana Republic, J. Crew, and others.
Needless to say, we didn't leave empty handed!
Charlotte Premium Outlets is part of the Tanger Outlets group and the outdoor mall is located between Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and Charlotte's Steele Creek area.
CPO is a nice alternative shopping experience for anyone shopping for bargains from quality merchants without visiting Southpark, Carolina Place, or Northlake Malls.
